What if, instead of its current flag, Bosnia opted by a more classical design?
The coat of arms is tierced by mantle, to give the same area to three ethnicities of the country and better accommodate the Croats checky. The first canton represent the Bosniaks, the biggest ethnicity of the country and that gives it the name. The canton sinister represents the Serbs, dominant in the Republika Srpska. The Croats are represented on the base.
The flag has an EU blue background, that also completes the Pan-Slavic blue-white-red.
The coolest of the making-of of this flag is that many things I done myself: the division of the shield, the checks and the fleur-de-lis (based on Commons). You can download the original SVG file.
